seochanges1

SEO changes are inevitable. During the many years that it is being used to rope in website visitors to gain footing, innovations and evolutions are only natural to transpire. And one of these evolutions are the shift of priority of SEO endeavors. During its initial establishment and eventual thriving, SEO was just being accomplished to get audience no matter the cost. But now, everyone had learned that User Experience is the paramount to having an authentic, actually long-lasting SEO engagement.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane and see how SEO had changed these past years for its users and how you can tweak your own mechanics to better fit your audience!

The Refurbished User Experience

If you have been using the web in the early 2000s, you would remember how bulky interfaces look, how dizzying colors are, and how overwhelming fonts can be. Today, this would not work and your bounce rate would skyrocket, meaning your SEO will suffer terribly—simply because they do not make for a satisfying user experience. As time goes on, people’s tastes have become more sophisticated, not just in design but in content as well.

seochanges2

Gone are the tacky designs and the less-than-filtered content, SEO changes paved way for brimming with sleek designs and actually engaging and useful content. Specifically, websites now are made sure to fit in different devices and we will be sure seeing more of this in the future due to Google’s mobile-first indexing.

UX design or how your website looks and is navigated have also became more complex than before, from knowing your audience to setting up your site’s wireframe, the strategies have turned multi-faceted to ensure that the journey’s user is a worthwhile one.

The Benefits of Focusing on Users

When the needs of a user are fulfilled, expect for trust to grow. With this, they will come go further your services, will come back for more, and tell people about the customer satisfaction you provided. In retrospect, an outstanding user experience calls for valuable returns for your business because of brand loyalty and even if some won’t go ahead with what you offer, there will still be an imprint that might prove useful in the future. According to studies, good user experience in the website can produce conversation rates up to 400%. This is one of the best benefits to come out of the many SEO changes over the years.

Users are a vital part for a successful SEO, even if you have the most organized system, you will not garner any return of investment (ROI) if you do not have a connection to your potential users. Digital marketing is for people and about people so if you’re still adhering to some SEO changes then you are definitely falling behind. Did you know that only 55% of companies perform user experience testing for their website? Step up, do not follow the herd: instead, be the one the people will follow.

The Benefits of Using Multiple H1 Tags

Google had made it clear that digital marketers can use as many H1 tags as they want. Despite this, we still recommend going for a single one for formatting purposes and the fact that one H1 tag can already bring you desired SEO (Search Engine Optimization) returns.

Benefits of Multiple H1 Tags - Redkite Digital Marketing

However, if you insist on using many H1 tags, probably due to aesthetics or further digital marketing strategies, there is definitely no problem! But you need to be still mindful to ensure that you are not wasting time and resources. Here we have a post that should help you focus more on H1 tags and other headings for better SEO!

Guidelines of using more than one H1 tag

H1 tags are extremely valuable and putting a single one or a dozen of them in your content will certainly not hurt your SEO. The reason is Google actually recognizes a page as worthy of being in top search engine rankings when the H1 tags are fittingly placed, not on how many they are.

And so, again, it does no matter how many H1 tags you’ll embed on a particular webpage, your established search engine rankings will be fine, granted the page has good semantic markup.

This was made even possible by HTML5 which uses a template where you can have an H1 tag per section. But then, again, no matter what markup language you use, Google is smart enough to identify if you’re using H1 tags properly.

Of course, while you can add countless H1 tags to your page as much as you want, you also need to watch yourself so it won’t turn into something spammy. We all know that online visitors hate spam and once they suspect that you are peppering the content with H1 tags, then they’ll more likely bounce out.

Also, header tags is in a hierarchy for a reason. If you really do not need H1 tags to divide content, you can maximize the use of H1 tags and the rest of the header tags.

Advantages of using a lot of H1 tags

Having multiple H1 tags will elevate your SEO status in many ways. First off, having many H1 tags will look good for your webpage granted the content calls for it. If you are putting H1 tags just for the sake of it and the section does not open to a separate content then expect user experience (UX) to suffer.

Next, while adding more than one H1 tags will not hurt or improve your search engine rankings, it will definitely provide better impressions which you need for Google to continuously put you in the map.

Guidelines for H1 Tags - Redkite Digital Marketing

Having many H1 tags also puts your digital marketing company in the Philippines a step ahead of a practice that should be more common in the future. HTML5 allows its users to have several H1 tags naturally so expect for this to be customary once everyone is integrated with the markup language.

Steps on using more than one H1 tag

We can’t emphasize this enough but good content is what you need before starting the H1 tag downpour that you want for your website.

More than anything, a good content (grammar, keywords, and all) brings in and retains the visitors; other elements such as H1 and H1 tags only help the process. When you come out with good content, it also means you know where to put the H1 tags that you are meaning to include so the H1 tag implant process should be easier.

Of course, you need to know the proper place for your H1 tags. They should be in the top sections of the page, usually as titles.

Now that you are using a lot of them, you can substitute some H1 tags to H2 tags. Note that there is a big difference between H1 and H2 tags and you can’t just carelessly trade one to another. Ensure that tag that you are using is suitable to a content that follows it.

Adding Multiple H1 Tags - Redkite Digital Marketing

Keywords should also not be forgotten. Since you are using multiple H1 tags, better distribute your keywords. Not every H1 tag should have a keyword and if one has one, make sure it has appropriate keywords and is semantically correct.

It’s thrilling to think that what looks like a miniscule element in a content actually needs a lot of SEO care to be beneficial to the entire digital marketing fare! In the end, we must realize that SEO will never be glued to traditional and tried-and-tested means, there will be new innovations that you need to adapt to catch up.

There are a lot of confusion about whether it’s good to have more than one H1 tags or not. Now that the mediator of all our SEO efforts have confirmed that it does not matter, you can put multiple H1 tags to your heart’s content!

What does an SEO actually do?

We had an interesting conversation during our meeting today.

While thinking of making “cool” topics, Redkite Account Executive, Haziel from SEO said that it was getting hard for her to really explain what she does at work to her friends and to people who don’t know much about internet marketing.

Nobody really understood her occupation!

No one understood what Haziel does

This was backed up by our Content Generation Specialist for SEO, Phoebe.

So, this is a piece we would like to dedicate to those who work for the SEO industry.

Let’s take a peek into what SEOs do so that Haziel and Phoebe can forward this link to anyone who wants to understand what they do a little better.

Things needed by the SEO:

Fact #1

SEO is Search Engine Optimization. It means optimizing webpages and websites to rank well in Google, Yahoo, and Bing (the major search engines).

As you can see, for a particular search query “Top paying jobs in the Philippines,” there are millions of results. It can be quite an achievement to be on the top 10 (first page) and that is why businesses need to rank in search engines – otherwise,  their sites will largely go unnoticed by Search Engine Users.

Google competitive result

So SEOs simply get sites from from the bottom of the pile to the top of the pile.

getting-something-

Fact #2

Search engine experts need to be skilled at understanding ranking factors very well. They need to be very technical and creative at the same time and spend most of their time doing On-page SEO and Off-Page SEO.

A. On-Page Factors (these are the items that can be tweaked, enhanced within the site to rank)

Site Performance MeterSite Performance

It is one of the fundamental jobs of the SEO to make sure that the site in question is crawled accurately by Search Engine bots. They want their focused and other content pages for the public to be crawled, indexed, and displayed in Google results. They do that by using tools in Google Search Console such as Sitemaps and Fetch.

The other side to this is that they should also make sure that none of the secured pages are getting indexed. We do not want search engines displaying our admin pages, pages that content information from private database information, etc. This is largely done by tweaking the Robots.Txt of the site and setting certain parameters to such pages such as “no-index, no-follow.”

Site structureSite Structure

Some websites are just structured very poorly and it is the SEOs job to make recommendations on better navigation and site structure. Google loves to index pages that are grouped beautifully into relevant folders.

Example:

Good Bad site structure

The two have plenty of significance in categorization that can have SEO impact and influence User-navigation experience. Who searches for shoes based on color first and then the style? People will get more accurate results by searching “Boots for Sale” rather than “black shoes for sale”

That way, pages can be correctly categorized. However, this is often done if the site is being made from scratch. If the site has already existed for a while, then SEOs cannot do much here and will have to work with the site in the way that it is – unless the clients are willing to right the wrong information architecture of the site.

Web page optimizationWeb Page Optimization

Now that the pages are being indexed and displayed in Google, it is the work of the SEO to look for better ranking using their webpages. This is done by optimizing the content of the site including meta data.  So they research, research, and research and then write, write and write!

Semantics and ContentSemantics and Content

When writing content for the site, SEOs practice to keep a balance at all times between being creative and technical.

(Creative) They write for the enjoyment of the audience 90% of the time, but they also need to remember that their content needs to be optimized for ranks so they allocate 10% of their writing to make sure that their pages are semantically in order with their SEO goals (Technical).

AuditingAuditing

All SEOs perform monthly or weekly audits per SEO campaign. You can think of audits to be similar to diagnosing a website – kind of like looking at symptoms, testing, and coming up with “treatments” to make a site/page perform its level best.

B. Off-Page Factors (these are activities performed outside of the website)

link building chainsLink Building

When the On-page (section A above) is dealt with and the SEO is satisfied with their sites performance and the sites’ interaction with the Search Engines, it then becomes the task of the SEO to start creating links coming from other websites to the website in question. Links have to be carefully researched and validated to be of quality. They must also contain the correct information. When an SEO tries to “short-cut” this process, they end up making too many lousy links that is more of a hindrance to SEO than anything else.

Once again, they research, research and research and then they build links.

Without these links, Google would never know how to gauge the popularity of the sites. Google would not be able to favor to the sites that the SEO is trying to rank. Instead, Google would rank sites seem to be most relevant to their users. So this one is a huge deal.

Blogging Brain for SEOBlogging

Although a part of a link building process, blogging serves many purposes. Blogs dynamically make sites more “beefed” up with relevant information for the user and the search engines. Blogs allow for the site to have continuous content updates and finally they are wonderful for sharing in social media.

Content DistributionContent Distribution

What good is a blog if no one knows about it? This is the part where SEOs and copywriters “re-invent” their blogs into smaller pieces of mini-content (Tumblr, WordPress, and other shorter-formatted blogs) and into micro-content (native social images with micro twitter sized posts). The same content will then be responsible for  generating traffic via other content sharing sites and social sites.

So this is what SEOs do on a daily basis, and since technology and how people consume content keep changing, SEOs have to keep honing their skills forever. They have to get better at mobile, image concepts and a whole lot more.

It is a line of work that has a very bright future, but it is not without its challenges.

At Redkite, we have developed an SEO program that works for local and international clients. We love what we do and we are glad that now, you understand our process and what our staff actually do.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please share. Thanks!

How to Utilize Facebook for Online Businesses

Facebook for Businesses

Facebook is a world-renowned social media and there are a lot of people who are in it. People use Facebook for the following reasons:

  • personal use;
  • to connect with people from the past whom they’ve lost contact with;
  • to gain new friends; and
  • to promote online businesses

For online businesses, Facebook is a good platform to utilize because a lot
of people are using it. Facebook marketing has been booming for the past 5 years and it’s never too late to start and engage yourself in it. So here’s how to utilize Facebook to promote online businesses:

1There are 3 main steps to get your business ready in Facebook.

1. Reach people where they are engaged – There are 1.35 billion people in Facebook. Every month, 64% of them check their accounts every day, which is why their presence in this social media platform alone could give you limitless business potential.

Engage with your target audience – You can post pictures of your latest products or sample of your services to help drive sales. You can also create a video to make people recognize your business and your Facebook page.

Another thing that is awesome about Facebook is that once a person likes your page, his/her friends will be able to see it. There is a great chance that they can discover your page and like it, too.
You can also utilize one of Facebook’s many features which is the “Boost Post.” With this, you can boost your post to appear in your chosen audiences.

2
With a Facebook Page, you can easily show customers what you’re all about.
Boosting posts is the best way to reach more people. With a boosted post, you can:
– Reach more people who like your page, including their friends.

– Reach new audiences based on location, age, gender and interests (*This, we think is the most important part of it). And;

3

– Easily set a budget and schedule for your post.

4

Read more on how you can boost your Facebook posts here: https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-page-boost-posts/

2. Build connections and relationships – Posting photos and updates on your page is an easy way to capture the interest of your audience. You can have them be engaged by knowing their interests, the posts they are usually interested in, and the topics they want to take part on. (More of this on item number 3)
Also, when you boost your posts, more people will see them in their News Feeds – the constantly updating list of stories on Facebook. The perfect way to build relationships is by keeping the current ones and getting new ones.
3. Learn about your customers and audience – When you have a page, you can easily track how many people like your post, or how many people viewed your page. A helpful tool here is Facebook Page Insights.

5

Learn more here: https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-page-insights-basics/
You can identify whether or not your audience like your post. With this, you’ll get to know more about them and what feeds, news, images, videos, and topics they want to see.

The Facebook Page Insights feature is extremely helpful, especially when you’re boosting your post. This feature lets you see how many people liked/unliked your page, how many people visit your page, and how far did your posts reach by knowing how many people saw your post:

6 know more about this feature here: https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-page-insights-reach-measurement/

And since Facebook and smartphones are all linked now, you can easily access your Facebook business page by downloading their The Pages Manager App.

This App lets you access your Facebook page easily. You can upload an image or video, post a status, review/reply in a comment, and schedule events.

7

You can also view all the figures of your page here – notifications, messages, new likes, and your scheduled posts.

8

There are also plenty of ways on how you can get more visits to your page – we have tackled the first one which is the Boost post. But there are still a lot of things you can still do like the promoting your page, send people to your website, and a lot more! (See image below)

9

Like we said earlier, potential of your business here on Facebook is limitless. You just have to keep these 3 things in your mind: 1.) Identify your audience (or target audience); 2.) Understand their behavior; and 3.) Create compelling and interesting posts, images, videos, etc. Once you have understood these things, your business can reach unimaginable growth and unlimited potential.

To wrap this up, here are some facts about Facebook that you may not know about, YET.

Google’s Update for April 2015: The Rise of Mobile Friendly Websites

G update 2015

Google announced last February 2015 that they will include mobile-friendliness as a factor in determining rankings. Here is Google’s official statement: “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact on our search results.” If you haven’t read the entire update yet, we will break it down for you.

  • Google will begin to use the data gathered from indexed apps.
  • What are indexed apps?

These are mobile applications that are “indexed” by Google. There are series of steps that must be done for App Indexing. Google would show the apps alongside the search result. See below.

G update 2015 2

(Image from Google Developers)

If you want to learn how to index your app, Google has written a guide about it here.

  • It will have a significant impact in our mobile search results.

The point of this phrase is that Google will be penalizing sites that are not “mobile-friendly”. We do not know yet the real scope of the penalty, but we know that it would be big. During SMX Munich, Zineb from Google told the community that the penalty would be heavier than the former updates.

Will the update hurt my desktop search results?

  • No, the algorithm focuses on mobile search results.

My mobile traffic is insignificant. Why should I make my site mobile-friendly?

  • It is safer and wiser to make your site mobile friendly because smartphone mobile access is continually on the rise. Take a look at Rand Fishkin’s Moz.com. His mobile traffic only accounts for 1% of the visits. Yet, he is working to make his site mobile-friendly – a perfect example of “thinking ahead.

We are only a few days away from Google’s update. Create a game plan, update your website, and do whatever you can to remain ahead of the competition.

Need help on making a mobile-friendly website? This guide published by Google can help you.

Essential websites to start generating traffic

Internet marketing has been evolving for decades now. My experience as an Internet Marketer has not been smooth sailing. I started from scratch—I did not have the tools, and I did not know where to begin. I had to start somewhere, so I started with research. Then I stumbled upon social media websites, directories and forums. These websites jump-started my internet marketing ideas. The list I have come up with, is in order of importance and effectiveness.  Each traffic generating website is rated and reviewed based on my own experience. These rates were based on the number of visitors, traffic generation, user experience, and its overall impact on internet marketing.

  • Google+

Googleplus icon/logo All of us, at some point have used the services of Google. We have watched videos on YouTube, we have used Google maps, and most of us use Gmail for our personal email. Google+ serves as a bridge for Google’s services. According to data published by Statista, Google+ has over 300 million monthly active accounts— 50% of them are logging in daily. Here are other facts about Google+ that might interest you (Source – Circlecount)

  • A post containing photo(s) has the most +1, comments, and shares – averaging at more than 45 +1, 30 comments and 50 reshares per post. This translates to 149% more +1, 133% more comments and re-shares.

There are more facts about Google+ like the engagement rate, proper ways to share content, boosting business on your page, etc. Those I would discuss on another part of my blog.

Why Google+ is a favorite among Internet Marketers?

Youtube We Internet Marketers are as “busy as a swarm of bees”. We want to share our information quickly as possible and Google knows that. If we are posting on an average of 5 times a day, we would have saved at least 5 – 10 mins a day, imagine the amount of time we can save for the whole month? (150 – 300 mins).

  • Google Circle

  • Twitter

twitter Twitter is currently one of the “Big Dogs” in the social media world, and is most preferred by Internet Marketers alike. Twitter currently generates over 500 million tweets per day and around 200 billion a year. It is populated by over 100 million users daily.

Twitter for Internet Marketing

Twitter is all about connecting with people through simple ideas and thoughts. Use the “@” feature to directly speak to a person, and use the “#” hashtag feature to connect to a certain community. The internet is populated with articles and blogs. Find something to share with the Twitter community. If your business model revolves around “SEO”, then find an interesting and relevant content on the internet (or create your own) then share the link. If you really want to jumpstart your Internet Campaign on twitter, I recommend you read these:

There are more out there. And I guarantee that most of them are extremely useful.

Why is Twitter popular for Internet Marketers?

Firstly, it is cleverly designed. It’s simple, intuitive, yet beautiful – a UI that children can use. Just compress your thoughts into a 140 character word post (Including spaces) then click tweet. twitter popular

Finding a target audience

The thing that worries a lot of Internet marketers is delivering their content to the target audience. Usual questions that come into play are:

  • How will my post be seen if I do not have enough followers?

We all started from zero followers. People from Twitter tend to follow back, make sure that you follow people that are related or share interests in your field of work – I.E. you don’t want to follow people from “biology” when you are actually in the “mechanics” realm. Yes, they are both science subjects! But they are different and so have they have different kinds of people involved in them. You would be much more effective sticking to things more relevant to your industry.

  • How do I find followers?

Finding a target audience in Twitter is easy. Just learn how to use the hashtag function efficiently and you’re good to go. The twitter hashtag function allows the user to broadcast and find ideas, thoughts, without having any follower.

  • The link alone eats a lot of character spaces.

Twitter has a feature that automatically shortens the link. It would reduce the link to an average of 10 characters. Alternatively, you can use external URL shortener sites such as Ow.ly, Bitly.com and Tinyurl.com. But the best practice is still to learn how to condense your content into bite-sizes.

My Overall Experience on Twitter:

User-experience: 10/10 Traffic Generation: 9/10

  • LinkedIn

linked in LinkedIn is a fairly old company, the site was launched way back in 2003 and was intended for professional networking. As of Feb 2015, the total number of LinkedIn users are at over 347 million users. LinkedIn is a “Business-to-Business” and a “resume site”, you must fill-up details like work experience, skills, honors, awards, certifications, etc. to receive maximum profile views. If you want to do Internet Marketing at LinkedIn, then a complete profile is a must. The main strategy in LinkedIn is to make connections, get high profile views, to endorse and be endorsed.

  • How do you get connections?

By joining and interacting with Groups. internet marketing Unlike Twitter, Facebook and Google+, LinkedIn does not have a “@” or “#” feature. LinkedIn instead relies solely on Groups, a feature that allows users to interact with each other directly. Find a group that is relevant to your company. For example, in my work-field, I search for Internet Marketing Groups; join several of them; and be active in that community. linked in groups

What does a Group look like?

what does a group look like

(Source: Elizabeth – LinkedIn groups)

You see a group is like a “Facebook Newsfeed”, it allows people to comment, like, and to follow the post. The only difference is, only your preferred news will be shown on your feed. My personal advice is that, it is better to look for a few active communities, rather than joining 20 groups and ending-up in these ghost-towns. There are groups that have thousands of members, but are populated with Spams and Advertisements.

  • Youtube For Internet Maketing

Using Youtube for internet marketing is quite tricky, people visit Youtube to look for information, or to find something entertaining. “To fully utilize the marketing power of Youtube, the strategy should be based on harnessing the nature of user intent, instead of working against it “– Phil Nottingham, Moz.com. Read his guide regading the marketing value of Youtube here,

  • Videos

Creating a video for Internet Marketing can be costly and time-consuming. If you are working on a limited budget, then a simple slideshow with voice-overs can suffice. You may also utilize your old company launch videos, podcast, and livestreams.

slideshare This website allows users to upload their Presentations, slides, and pdf files into the website for online viewing. Pinterest

pinterest Pinterest is one of the Underdogs of social media marketing. As it grows, there are 27 million unique visits daily and over 200 million views in total per day.

How will Pinterest Help my marketing campaign?

What is interesting about Pinterest is that they utilize the hashtag function, plus, they have no restrictions when it comes to image size. Meaning, that any image size is accommodated – this feature heavily benefits the promotion of infographic and banners. Pinterest also allows the user to insert hyperlinks into their images. 25 keyboard shortcut The image above is uploaded by Mashable.com. Reddit – BONUS WEBSITE

reddut

Reddit is a content-based community. Registered users are allowed to post text, links and submit content. The site is divided into several categories and then divided again into what they call “SubReddits”. (See the image below)

One thing that I like about Reddit is that it is fairly easy to navigate. The website uses a simple URL format “/r/<insert community here>” for its subreddit communities. For example, if you want to target audience that is interested in “SEO”, then just use this URL format: www.reddit.com/r/seo .

Reddit has a huge community, and most of the members are active, if your post is interesting, — it could generate a lot of reactions and activity.

reddit community

It has a very active community of users. In the image above, there were a lot of “thumbs up”, and there were over 800 comments within 3-4 hours after the single live post.  If you want to promote yourself in Reddit, learn what interests your niche community, create some good content, post and then wait for the results.

Seo Outsourcing

10 reasons Philippines SEO Outsourcing is more than about saving money.

SEO is universal. What algorithms Google applies to the States, Canada, Australia and in any other country, generally applies to everyone, including us. So while cost-saving on monthly SEO is actually a benefit one can get from outsourcing SEO to the Philippines, here are more reasons why Philippines is an amazing place to outsource.

#1 SEO Content Generation

In today’s generation, winning at SEO happens through content. In the Philippines SEO industry, content writers, graphic and visual artists are hired to make up content for blogs, websites and social media. Content personnel are thoroughly screened and tested to assure that the company hires only the best. People who are interested in making writing their career know that there are many possibilities in SEO these days than in any other industry. One may be an amazing writer but if the person doesn’t understand the basics of SEO and social media then you simply cannot enter the SEO industry in the Philippines. The bar has been raised for copywriting and content generation in the country.

#2 SEO Analysis

The demand for SEO analysts and their salaries have grown higher than ever before. In the Philippines, most SEO analysts diagnose everything from content, links, social media, copy uniqueness, social interactivity, website metrics and CRO (conversion rate optimization). They are skilled at auditing websites, making reports and executing SEO strategies.

#3 Branding

Local businesses in the Philippines themselves thrive on branding and being niche-oriented. This is not a new concept for this part of the world to understand.  SEO professionals in the Philippines are trained to understand the brand, their uniqueness and value proposition in each and every SEO campaign.  This is what Philippine marketers focus on – both offline and online.

#4 Updated and Upgraded SEO

Although this is something that all SEO agencies do worldwide, (i.e. update and upgrade their SEO as needed) in the Philippines, the SEO industry is competitive. A lot of companies are putting up their own SEO firms. The SEO agencies that do well are those who are always updating their SEO strategies.

#5 Social Media

When it comes to social media, the people in the Philippines are no different than people in the west. They are proactive and huge social media contributors and consumers. When social media strategies are applied alongside content and link building, they will result to huge SEO benefits. We are lucky that social media is very appreciated in this part of the world as Filipinos like to “share” their opinion.

#6 Competitiveness

The Philippines has always been a top outsourcing destination due to its close American and European (Spanish) ties from the past. Outsourcing has been a way of life in the Philippines and we are very competitive in this industry. We know its benefits and we know how to keep ourselves in top performance levels.

#7 On-Page Optimization

Beyond just developing websites, most Philippines SEO companies employ web-coders to assist in their SEO.  They are trained to optimize the pages skilfully for faster page load speeds and for better crawl-ability of a website.

#8 Conversion Rate Optimization and Design

In the Philippines SEO industry, usually agencies have their own designers, developers, SEO analysts and CRO specialists.  CRO is hugely embedded in design, whether through graphics, multimedia or text.  Having this advantage from a single company is crucial for success in getting on top of the search engines and for converting visitors.

#9 Teamwork

The value of teamwork is deeply ingrained in the work habit of the Filipinos. From elementary education, high school, college, and even at work, Filipinos display astonishing team effort. They deeply believe that success comes to those who are better organized and highly motivated. They strongly encourage team spirit and this leads to a healthy SEO. They are very cooperative within themselves and regard their team leaders to the highest levels.

#10 Talent

Philippine SEO simply thrives because of the SEO talent that is growing within the industry. From freelancers, small agencies to bigger digital agencies, SEO has become a line of work that is taken very seriously. There are annual SEO events, Digital marketing conferences and Content leaders that are taken to the center stage.  This great migration is due to the amount of demand for Philippine SEO specialists as they have already started to supply world class SEO locally and internationally. In the end, SEO is about talent. It’s about hiring the best person that your marketing budget can buy.

Epilogue :  No matter what people say, SEO professionals know that there are only 2 types of SEO.

  • Amazing SEO – improves company’s presence drastically and makes them look awesome!
  • Bad SEO – average, none or negative results.

Outsourced SEO is affordable because of the infrastructure itself i.e. smaller business taxes, business rent, starting salaries and the cost to train personnel. It is not because the SEO personnel have sub-standard professionalism in creating the availability of affordable SEO. Read more about Challenges in outsourcing SEO abroad and how to overcome them.
